Does anyone have experience running exploratory or confirmatory latent profile analysis (i.e., latent class analysis but with continuous variables).

I'm trying to classify individuals into four groups based on two variables....so high high, high low, low high, and low low groups. The two variables are slightly correlated (r <0.17). I need to figure out which one of these groups these individual will most likely fit into.

I haven't used latent gold but have experience with mplus. I'm not familar with the syntax though and would love getting some help in this through email.
