Tonight's Powerball (http://www.musl.com) jackpot is $340 million, the second-biggest lottery jackpot in US history.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 146,107,962. Slim enough for you? Not for Peter Rose, he just bought 146,107,962 tickets. (http://benquirer.blogspot.com/2005/10/pete-rose-buys-146107962-powerball.html)

If you buy 10 tickets a week, every week, it would take you 280,000 years before you could expect to win. Most statisticians don't play.

I don't play either - except this one......:D

Our office pooled 37 people together to buy 74 tickets. If we win, I'd love to see the negotiations to get us to stay for a period of time so they can avoid the disruption of having to replace us all at once.:D
