hey i know that this might seem like a really easy question for you guys :( but here goes:
well there are 10 six sided dice, all independent. what is the probability that six 1's show up in any order??

I was thinking about 1/6 ^ 6 but i dont know that just doesnt seem right not taking the other dice into account. thanks any advice would be great.

The number of 1's show up in 10 independent dice throw ~Binomial (10, \frac {1} {6})
So the required probability = {10 \choose 6} (\frac{1} {6})^6 (1 - \frac {1} {6})^{10 - 6} = 210 \times \frac {5^4} {6^{10}} = \frac {21875} {10077696}

thank you!!!

question, the probability wouldn't be different if i used that method with different numbers for example 1,2,3,4,5,6 right?? is there anyway to prove that your probabiltity would be different if you have different numbers or is it always the same??
