I'm having trouble with this problem, and help would be really appreciated!

Suppose a random variable x is best described by a uniform probability distribution with range 2 to 4. Find the value of a, that makes the following probability statements true. P(x < a) = 0.06

It is rectangular distribution..
so p(x<a) =0.06 => (a-2)* pdf =.06 and solve a { area of the rectangle ...}

I think it is pretty simply.
But I don't sure if my idea is right.


(a-2)/(4-2) = 0.06/1 => a=2.12
