Ok. I'm not a math wiz, but a buddy and I had a debate regarding probability. Here's the scenario, let's say the probability of getting hit by a train while crossing the tracks is 1 million to 1. So Eric has crossed the train tracks 1/2 a million times, and I have never crossed the train tracks. If Eric and I are hand cuffed together and we cross the train track is there a formula for calculating the adjusted probability. Or more to the point, do I have a higher risk of getting hit?
Thanks in advance!
