If E is .4 and F is .6 and E and F intersect at .1 where do the compliment of E and F intersect?
Given P(E) = 0.4, P(F) = 0.6, P(E \cap F) = 0.1
We have P(E^c \cap F) = P(F) - P(E \cap F)
Is it what you are asking for?
