View Full Version : An abstract mortality question

A few days ago a 48 year old man died [from a lightning strike] and a 65 year old man did not die.
I'm familiar with the mortality tables and the likelihood of, in the US, of being killed by lightning.

In a broader sense, how should I make sense of that day?

I really don't know what you're trying to ask here. Are you asking why the 65 year old man didn't die while the younger man did?

Yeah, and why really bad dudes live on and people who never harmed anyone die.
I guess I should go looking for a theology forum.:(
