Use the standard normal distributin table to find

a) P(Z<1.00)
B) P(0<Z<1.43)

Look them up in the table. In the body of the table, find the probability that corresponds to z=1.

For #2, find the scores that correspond to 0 and 1.43 and subtract them.

your answer for a) is the right answer for 0<z<1.00 to get z<1.00 you just use the number in the table which is .8413.

the answer for b) should be .9236 - .5000 = .4236, perhaps a typo?

cheers

There is a simple free software pqrs to calculate tables values of almost all popular distributions. Please try it. It is simple
