Could someone tell me how iH was approximated from the equation at the top? Which approximation rule was used?

Can you give more information about iH, iF and the e series, it's hard to tell from the two equations.

this is really just an algebra question. i_H, i_F are like x and y, and i'm not even sure what E(e) is supposed to be.... don't worry about this. I'll just ask my lecturer.
