So my null hypothesis is say..
the mean value is at least 22, but minitab doesnt give any greater than equal to option for null hypothesis in hypothesis testing so will it be OK if I set
null hypothesis = 22, and then in options set alternate "less than"?

I guess you could do the lower tail test and then your p-value will just be 1-k where k is the p-value that minitab gives you.

ummm..
couldnt get you

my p value is say 0.004 using minitab, and i use less than alternate..
So can I conclude at 5% that since p is less than 0.05 which is level of significance we reject the null hypothesis?

Oops. Read your initial post wrong. Yes setting the null to mu = 22 and the alternative to less than is what you want to do.

so I can draw conclusions basing on my p value that minitab gave me, right?

I don't see why not. What would be the problem exactly?

problem was that I was confused due to "then your p-value will just be 1-k where k is the p-value that minitab gives you." .:)
Am good now.
Thanks
