Hi,
Does anybody know how to compute the range between the lowest and highest variable in SPSS?
Say for example, I have consumer ratings on 10 variables.
Consumer 1 ratings
Variable 1 rating = -.999
Variable 2 rating = .999
Variable 3 rating = -.444
Variable 4 rating = .234
etc.
The range between the lowest and highest variable for this consumer is .999-(-.999) = 1.998
But for the second consumer, the highest and lowest rating might be present with variable 2 and 3, get my gist?
In one formula, I should be able to compute the range between the highest and the lowest of the 10 variables for each consumer. I just don't know how to, and it would be of great help if anybody could assist me with this.
Thanks alot!
