Hi!
Not looking for answers, just direction -- don't know what type of probability model to use to se up
Q:
Quality control inspector for company believes a process is out of control. Normally, only 5% of all cases ared deemed defective due to discolorations. If 6 such cases are sampled, what is probability there will be no defective cases if process is operating correctly? What is the probability there will be exactly one defective case?
My question:
Is this probability distribution of a continuous random variable? And would I solve for binomial distribution?
