Hi...
I need some help with the basics...
What is meant by an interaction in an experiment?
And... Can you please tell me a link where I can find examples of experiments that have between-subjects, within-subjects and mixed designs.
Thank you very much, people!
I have two sites that may be of help:
http://davidmlane.com/hyperstat/within-subjects.html
and
http://psych.rice.edu/online_stat/
(see chapter XII, section G)
Hope this helps.

Erida,
As an example, let's say we have an experiment with two factors, A and B, each at two levels - so this would be a 2x2 design.
An interaction between factors A and B would mean that the effect of factor A would depend on the level of B, or vice versa-
the effect of factor B would depend on the level of A.
