 I have no idea where to start on this one
If a is uniformly distributed over [-23,18], what is the probability that the roots of the equation (x^2)+(a*x)+a+35=0 are both real?
I would think that ((a*x)+a) >= -35, but other than that I have NO CLUE.
Thanks
Todd
