Im having a hard time finding what the formula is for how minitab is defining the start point for the bins when building a histogram. Specifically my question is when using the midpoint setting for histogram binning and then manually defining the number of bins -- how does minitab define the start point of the first bin and the bin widths?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated
