i hope those understand my problems can lend you all hands and answer my Questions...

i am using Minitab package to analyse my data. minitab is new for me. and i agree i am week in statistic.

i want to test the correlation between the two continuos variables. can i just pick pearson's correlation test??? how to make it??? should i test normality of my data? how to test it using minitab? what criteria needs to be caution?

another Question is i also plan to test the association between two categorical data. there is 4x4 contingency table. and i had the problems to analyse it used the chi square test. this is because there are many expected cells less than 5. so what can i do? have anyone know alternative?
