Likert Scale Input?

Hi there.

I've taken over a project, half way through, and trying to analyse the data left behind. There was a pre and a post-questionnaire. Both looking at the same things, n a five-point scale. The researcher before me has only left the percentages of each score for each question (ie. Q1, Strongly agree: 23%, agree 4.6%...and so on). How would I put this data into spss, to compare the pre and post-questionnaire results.

from what you are describing there is little you can do, especially is he has put the total percentage for each question. It seems the only thing you can do is compare the percentages.
