Hello,

600-3x= 20[7.5 + (1.5x-48.75)^.5]

I need to solve for x.

I tried everything, but I still don't get it.

x should approximately 88.75826
Thank You.

Attached is the solution. You end up with a quadratic equation, and I used the quadratic formula - you get 2 answers, but only 88.75 works when you plug it back into the original equation.
