In SPSS i want to insert a varibale of range 1 to 100. Is there a formula, like in excel, for this. Where do i insert the formula? There must be a better way to do this rather than manually( type in 1 to 100). Please help. I hope u understand what i am asking.

I'm not sure how to do this in SPSS - I would just do it in Excel and then copy/paste the numbers into SPSS.
