hi there
I ve got the bivariate joint distribution apart from a normalization constant
f(x,y)=(1-y)^x* y^α *(1-y)^(β-1) , x=0,1,2,... 0<=y<=1,α>0 β>0
and I want to find the distributions of the conditional random variables
X/Y=y and Y/X=x.
I try to use that f(x,y)=f(x/y)*f(y)
but I strangle a little bit because I don't know what to use as f(y)I know that is something relative with the "apart froma normalization constant".
I don't know,maybe is something simple....
Thanks in advance
