SAS-sy

Hello,

I am (attempting) to use SAS for my statistics of my research project.
Before I even get started with "the good stuff" I'd like to test for a few effects--one being if the order of the variable given matters. There were 15 subjects who went through the same protocol. Each subject ran in two different types of shoes. The order in which they wore them was randomized. I'd like to test, in SAS, to see if there is a significant difference (hopefully there is not) between those who wore shoe 1 first versus shoe 2 first.

What I don't understand is, should I test this against ALL other variables (there are 256 associated variables dealing with kinetics and kinematics). and if so, is this what SAS does anyway (tests stated variable against other variables in the file?)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated, as I am not an expert in statistics in general, let alone the programming that must be done for it!:)
