Hello Group and thank you for taking the time to read this..
My research is examining whether membership of one of two personality categories predicts effectiveness at lying as measured by response timings, specifically response latency and response duration.
I have 40 participants overall, who roughly split into 2 groups by personality variable.
Each participant has produced 3 honest and 3 dishonest statements for which I have timed data featuring: Response latency and response duration.
My question is how to design my descriptive and inferential statistics to optimally depict any relationships. I am having trouble designing the analysis but also to determine the best way to standardize the data.
Even a nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
