I trying to resolve this problem but I am getting frustrated. After listening to different opinion I am not sure anymore about what to do.
3 hens (3 varieties) were randomly assigned to 3 diets (A, B and C). We want to know if there is a difference in egg weight because of the diets.
The data are mean egg weights (in g) of 10 eggs from each bird.
Mean Egg Weight with
Variety__Diet A___Diet B___Diet C
1_______112_____87______100
2_______100_____85______98
3_______90______75______86
My first ideas was an ANOVA 2 ways with replications. However, I have no variance data. Then I saw that they want to know the difference in egg weight because of the diets. Should I do an ANOVA 1 way and then use a pairwise comparasion (T method).
Can I use a program to result this problem? I did all my other problems using excel but they were only around ANOVA 1 way and 2 ways.
