Right guys, this should be a no-brainer for those tuned into SPSS, regression and correlation. I've been trying to work this out all week and in my desperate state am turning to you
Here is a description of my data:
I conducted a questionnaire and asked participants their preference of product (4 possibilities):
Product1,
Product2,
Product3, or
Product 4.
So each case has i.e.:
Age | Preference
23 | Product2
Now. I've actually asked for their preference for TWO given tasks, so we end up with TWO ratings columns:
Age | Question1 | Question2 :(
23 | Product2 | Product1 :(
My Question:
How do I perform a test of significance of the most frequently rated product
(1) For each question.
(2) Globally. For for both questions.
So that I'm clear on this, I've pasted the poll data below. It's a small poll, only 23 participants. You'll see that for Q1 Product2 is rated more frequently and for Q2 Product1 is rated more frequently.
Several thanks in advance
