I am currently running a regression on my data set and would like to control for the effects of several variables. I cannot, however, figure out how to do this. I have run the regression using the three key variables involved (two predictor variables and one outcome) but I want to control for age, race, etc. I am using SPSS version 14. Any help would be appreciated.

Create new variables that list the age, race, etc. of each case (row) and include them in the model - these are often called "covariates."

The effects of the independent variables will then be estimated, controlling for the covariates.
