Hi guys, having trouble with these... dont quite understand..

When you have a:

Uniform Distribution
Right Skewed Distribution
Left skewed Distribution
Normal Distribution

looking at those separately, in each of those, indicate wheater you expect the mean to be greater than, smaller than or similar to the median and why ?

if any1 could help. wud appreciate it.

When the distribution is symmetrical, the mean and median are similar or the "same."

Hint: for skewed distributions, the mean will move in the direction of the skew, and the median will tend not to move nearly as much, especially for large sample sizes.
