    Random Samples

    I cannot figure out how we come to the answer of 3,921,225 for this question. Out of a 100 numbers I need to take a random sample of four numbers. How many different random samples of four are possible?

    100c4 = (100*99*98*97)/(4*3*2*1) = 25*33*49*97 = 3921225
