Hey,

I am trying evaluate the % of time spent by employees performing certian activities, across 2 years. The percentages sum up to 100. However for this year we decided to take out one of the activities.

Is it still fine to compare the percentages across 2 years? How do I control for the missing option this year?

e.g. Please indicate the approximate percentage of time spent doing following activity (it should total to 100%) -

a. running
b. walking
c. cycling
d. jogging
e. swimming

This year we are excluding swimming.

Can I still compare these percentages?
