i need some help on cohen's kappa.

I have two raters, with 3 codes (correct, incorrect and other) . one of the two raters does not use one of the codes at all and therefore SPSS gives me a warning message: "Kappa statistics could not be calculated because the table is not symmetric". Any ideas on how to overcome this issue?
