What exactly do you mean? Like a "Hall of Fame" sort of place for threads that are particularly interesting?
Part of helping out is actually seeing end results - especially for interesting problem (IMO).
It might be cool to have a slot for solutions to problems that regualar posters have helped with - however I realise that this will of course rely and depend on the orginal posters.
Thoughts anyone?

Not a hall of fame, just a place where solutions can viewed fro mdioscontinued threads.
For example: I have helped a few with problems before submission to journals. I would find it interesting to be able to read these articles, so links or pdfs could be placed there.

Lol. Awww I think bugman's upset. I think it's a potentially good idea. Gotta see how many ppm would be interested enough to contribute though.
I didn't mean to upset. I was just asking a question. Anywho I think I understand what you're saying now.
A place for stuff we've done that wasn't part of a forum post? Is that what you're getting at? That could be interesting.
Takes alot more than that to upset me!!
not upset at all.

I love the idea.
I've already read some of the works of people on here, in particular BiostatMatt and Mp83.
It's a great idea. I've been thinking about adding a statistics wiki. We can move some informative posts there from talkstats, give some typical solved problems and software tutorials, and start any stat mini-topics. It's basically a more accesible version of wikipedia. I find the statistics section in wikipedia much too theoretical and formal. There are so much great stats information online we need a place to organize it all. If you guys are interested in the wiki I'll start working on it and we should be good to go within a few weeks.
A wiki would be pretty awesome. We could have a pretty nice applied section. Maybe even some nice tutorials on using some of the common software to get common tasks done. An intro to emacs (I'd totally be up for helping write this one).
Good stuff. Thanks Quark!!
