What can I do in SPSS v19 Base edition?

We're considering upgrading our SPSS from what we have now (v14) to the current v19. I'm having a hard time justifying the cost of anything more than just the Statistics Base edition. I know the Professional edition will do MANOVA and MANCOVA, but can anyone tell me if Base will do them also? I can't tell for sure from the documentation. 14 doesn't. Sigh.

I would, but our IT folks get a little testy when we download software without authorization. I'll probably do so on my home computer, but in the meantime I thought I'd see what others said.
