a doctor promises a 90% chance of a cure for your illness

    for $1000.

For him to share the risk equally with you how much money should he put in escrow for you?

Suppose you want him to share half the risk?

This problem is making me crazy. Should I use a decision tree format?

I think I figured it out.
He should put up 90% of $1000.
    It's an even bet.
