Hey guys,

I'm currently (attempting) to complete my proposal for a project looking into peoples stereotypes of fans of different genres of music.

I have 6 different genres, which represents my IV's, and my DV will be stereotype rating, which I'm measuring using 15 separate likert scales to represent different personality traits.

The design is within-subjects (repeated measures).

I'm essentially looking to see if there are significant differences between the ratings of each of the personality traits between genres.

I thought I'd need to use a MANOVA to complete the study but my tutor disagrees so I'm wondering if anyone has any other ideas of what I can use?
