I have DV in interval data (normally distributed) and iv in ratio data (not normally distributed).

DV - score of behavior range from 6 - 30 (normal)
IV - income, number of children (not normal)


if DV and IV is normally distributed then i can use pearson correlation, but in my case the IV is not normal. so what test should i use to find the correlation/ association between the DV and IV?
