Hello,
I'm looking for some guidance on how I can determine a score for someone who has more samples than another person.
I've found this a very hard problem to try and search on and I'm hoping someone can just give me a function or theory on how this is done...
Say person A took 100 tests and averaged a 90%. I would presume that is much better person B taking 1 test and averaging a 100%.
The more tests person B took the more he would be on par with person A.
How can I systematically compare these people? For example, I'm looking for a mathematical way to show that person A is much better than person B simply because of the contribution of scores.
If you can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
This site seems very cool!
Thanks very much for any guidance.
