Hello guys,

I have a problem concerning time settings using stata software.
Well, I can luch a dailt time set. However, the problem is that I do not know how to chage the date. I mean by default the software launch by 1 january 1960. I tried hard but I did not know how to change this settings.
Could you post to me the answer.

Dear Jimmy,

I don't think that you can change this default setting. However, if you do have your date variables coded as such in Stata, it's just a matter of simple arithmetic to change the start date to a date of your preference.
