Problems uploading image to StatisticsPedia

I tried uploading a jpg to StatisticsPedia for an article I'm writing but I got the following error:

“HelloWorld.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
Unable to create directory /home/pedia/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2012/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Do I have the ability to upload images? Did I do something wrong?

I just set the directories to be writable. It should work now.
