    P = .999, okay to report?

    I got a p-value of .999 on one of my significance tests. Is it okay to report it as, for example, r = .67, p = .999?

    I know you have to report as p < .001 when it's .000 but what about .999?

    Thanks!

    It's sometimes useful to show the results of a statistical test that shows a non-significant result. I would just report the type of test, the test statistic (F, t, z, or whatever), and the p-value. In this case, there's no reason to report the "r" value, since the p-value clearly indicates that there's no significant effect.

    Is that a correlation? What was your sample size?
