    EQS grief

    Hello everyone!

    I'm trying to finish up my analysis for my thesis and this last test is giving me all sorts of trouble...

    I keep running into an error message that says:
    "ERROR: UNDEFINED KEYWORD, CHECK FIRST TWO CHARACTERS"

    Google search of the error message reveals nothing related.

    At first, I thought I was because I made a mistake while entering some additions into the syntax file, so I went back and tried running it without the additions (so that everything in the eqx was generated by the program itself. Same message appears in the output file! :

    Here's the spot of the "error" in the specifications section... supposedly it starts at "CASES=26;", but I can't see anything unusual.

    1 /TITLE
    2 Model built by EQS 6 for Windows in Group 1
    3 /SPECIFICATIONS
    4 DATA='c:\users\kyle\desktop\kyle's thesis\kylethesisdata(males).ess';
    5 VARIABLES=68; CASES=26; GROUPS=2;
    6 METHOD=ML,ROBUST; ANALYSIS=COVARIANCE; MATRIX=RAW;
    7 /LABELS

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Re: EQS grief

    if we could see the full syntax file would be nice... EQS is notoriously tricky for hiding its errors....
