Need help in sample size determination

    Hi all,

I'm planning to conduct an experiment using experimental animals and I'm having trouble computing the proper number. I want to use two groups, one control and the other one for treatment.
Any body have an idea about that?!

    Thanks

    Hi Yoha...
My suggestion would not be a precise one, statistically
Have a look on similar experiments and see their sample sizes... This may give you an initial thought and then you can at least know what to expect, or expected from you!

    Or you use software, e.g. G*power http://www.psycho.uni-duesseldorf.de...n/aap/gpower3/

    Kind regards
