I have a basic handle on statistics, but am trying to learn various topics in much more detail. I am a PhD student working in systems biology, predominantly with computer vision for identification of cells within microscopy images (and subsequent quantification of various aspects of those cells). I've been teaching myself programming for the past few years, mostly in Python and R (and my lab requires Matlab). I love programming!
So I'm hoping to be able to help out here with programmatic aspects of R (and Python, though I know that will be used in a tiny subset of forum topics) while gleaning some knowledge of statistics from others.
