Smile Time in terms of AM or PM - Interval or nominal?

    Hi,

Time in terms of AM or PM is interval or nominal?qualitative or quantitative? discrete or continuous?

Because, when I try to resolve it, I observed that Time in terms of AM/PM can be considered as Binary.
If Time comes under Binary, It will be discrete- and discrete comes under Quantitative
Where as, Quantitative data defines the type of data and Qualitative describes the data.
Here Time in terms of AM/PM can be both quantitative ( it defines whether it is AM/PM) and qualitative (describes the time).
And Time in AM/PM can be nominal because it will be mutually exclusive.
I'm very confused to select the appropriate data type.

Could any one please help me in regards of this.

    Thanks in advance.
    Lucky.

    Let me ask 3 things:

Could you convert all time to military time and avoid the AM PM all together?
Why is you reason for this question? What analysis are you doing? (hypothesis, DV(s), IV(s))
