"make an analysis of your own choice"

working on an assignment about jobsatisfaction, got the variables: motivation, sex, department number, responsibility, job function, days of illness, daily work, cooperation, skilldevelopment, reputation, working condition, nearest manager, superior manager and satisfaction at work. ive been through one-way variance analysis, test of independence, simple and multiple regression (/w dummies) but my last problem is to construct a statistical analysis of my own choice. ive been trying to do logistic regression with "responsibility" as the dependent variable and motivation as the explaining variable, but motivation isn't significant for this purpose (0,116) and neither are any of the other relevant scale oriented variables. so i want to know if any of you guys got any ideas of what my "analysis of own choice" could be like, and which tests to use.

Why do you assume that the independent variable not being signficant suggests a method is invalid? You should chose your method based on the form of the dependent variable and your research question, not whethere there is a signficant relationship between the IV and DV. Sometimes they just are not related, that is a legitimate finding.

I understand English might not be your first language but I would recommend trying to use proper capitalization and sentence structure. I didn't actually read your post since it wasn't structured very well.

It's not that I couldn't read it if I took the time and effort. But there are a lot of posts here and I don't take the time to read posts that are formatted the way you wrote the initial post.

I'm probably not the only one that takes this stance either so I was just informing you that if you want good responses that taking the time to present your questions clearly and in a decent format helps.
