The hint does make sense, but is a bit (in my opinion) clumsily stated. You've got the answer to i), yes?

What would the product of the probability in i) and be?

After this step you should be able to see where the "hint" was trying to lead you, therefore one last step is needed in order to obtain the answer to ii)
