Hello,
I have a household income of some communties in quartiles/deciles with number of household.
just to give you some idea;
community households decile1 decile2 decile3....................
X 900 8000$ 10000$ 15000$
Y 1100 10000$ 15000$ 20000$

and so on. I have nearly 1000 communities.

What i would like to is to regroup the data like;percentage of household having income less than 8000$.% of households having income 8000-15000 and so on(or similar other groups).
i can find that 90 household in community x having an income less than 8000$.
for community y 110 household having less than 10000$.
I have the data in decile so i guess i can make 3 or 4 groups,but how?
how can i rearrange the data?
is there a way ?especially with SAS?
any help will be greatly appreciated,.and if i didnt explain well or you need any more information please ask.
