T-Test for paired samples.
Hello Talk Stats folks.
I am attempting to determine if individuals can perform better on test scores with teams than they can alone. I have individual test scores and team test scores from three research cycles. Which test or tests can help me determine if the test scores gathered from 30 individuals working alone then working with teams of five other students shows that individuals increased test scores through teamwork and across three test cycles.
Here is a summary:
Objective:
To determine if individuals can perform better on test scores with teams than they can on the same test alone.
Experiment summary:
30 Individuals take a quiz to test their knowledge on material they studied prior to class. Once the individuals complete and hand in their individual quizzes, they take the same quiz through collaboration with teams of five students. Each teams submits one quiz that represents the team's effort. This process repeats weekly for a total of three research cycles.
Goal:
(1) Compare individual quiz scores and team quiz scores within a single research cycle in order to determine if individuals have improved their scores through collaboration with small groups of other students.
(2) Compare individual quiz scores and team test scores across three test cycles to determine if individuals and teams can increase performance over time through continued collaboration.

T-Test for paired samples.
Please be gracious in judging my english. (I am not a native speaker/writer.)
Thank you lorb! This is a good help. I did a "t-test for paired samples". However, I was unsure if this was the proper test for the data. Also, I wondered if another test could help me to test the hypothesis. Pardon my German, I only speak in Google.
Vielen Dank lorb!
