That's a good point Greta. I can imagine that someone gets "back billed" like I've seen notices from the water company to my landlord basically saying "we were in error and you owe us 3 years worth of a water charge you never faced. Pay us $2,000!" lol
It makes me wonder if maybe I should look at averaging consumption. The thing is that we want to focus on seasonal variation, since winter and summer are peak energy periods. Maybe give each contract a seasonal average and look at that? It's worth exploring anyway.
