Hi

I need some advice on a sampling issue.

I work on work intention of hospitality students in Egypt.

I chose 3 universities out of 8 governmental ones.
These 3 were selected to represent 3 different geographical and they showed willingness to participate.
I visited each university and distributed my questionnaire forms to all students who attended the hospitality class that day and collected them back.

Now, I worked my descriptive analysis and want to move to inferential statistics.
However, reading on this I discovered that random sampling is required to conduct inferential statistics (be it parametric or none parametric) and now I reviewed my sampling and think it is a convenience one.

According to sources, convenience sampling does not allow conducting inferential statistic.

Now I feel frustrated and all the effort I did is on stake !

Any clue?
