Hello,

I was thinking of researching markets with different types of regulation and how this may affect equality and happiness.

Could anyone suggest any datasets for STATA that could have such variables, particularly regulation. That is, are there variables that could measure the amount of regulation in a country i.e. number of businesses, size of tax on goods, barriers to trade etc?

I keep looking at datasets such as General Social Survey, Eurobarometer & so on which has the other section (inequality and happiness) but I'm very unfamiliar with macro datasets.
