    [Lisrel] interpretation of lisreal outputs

Can anyone help with the interpretation of lisreal outputs shown in the image below.

What does it all mean really? What do all the different numbers in the diagram represent in simple terms?

    Re: interpretation of lisreal outputs

That is a lot of information to go through. If you give some info regarding why you've run this model and what you are trying to do with it, we'll be able to help you out in a more focused manner. I say that because it sounds like you're entirely unfamiliar with SEM/Measurement Models and might not have that background knowledge needed to make proper use of the technique or even understand what you're looking at.

    Re: interpretation of lisreal outputs

    Hi,

I completed a survey and using EFA found 4 underlying factors. I completed a second survey and again using EFA the same 4 factors emerge. I was then told to complete a CFA on the data using lisreal and the out put is as above. I suppose all I am looking to prove is that the 4 factors that emerge are valid (valid may be the wrong word but i hope you understand what I mean) etc in explaining the data.

You are right in your assessment that my knowledge is scarce on the subject! Any assistance greatly appreciated!

    Bump!!

    Any help appreciated.

    Are the individual variables sifnificant?

Re: [Lisrel] interpretation of lisreal outputs

I am new to lisrel. And I am hoping to find a tutor for a couple of hours to teach me how to perform some analysis with the software. If you have the software and have a couple hours of spare (and do not charge crazy amount of hourly rate), please contact me. Thanks so much. --- sara
